Led Zeppelin - Live @ the Capital Centre in Landover, Maryland, May 30, 1977. Vince Cavo and friends document their road trip from Utica, NY to see Zep in concert, including clips from the show.

I was there as well and so grateful for it.  Wish I could have gotten to the UK for their last concert but just wasnt feasible at the time.  Saw Robert Plant recently...brought back so many memories.

I was there.  Do you remember when someone threw a sparkler from way up in the stands.  It landed on the stage.  Robert Plant went over to where it landed, kicked it (intending to kick it off the stage).  Instead it set off one of pyro props that nearly took Plant out.  That was a close one.

I was there and its great to see this video.  I made the trip from Rochester, NY  Thanks to the guy with the yellow corvette that sold me those tickets.

A completely totally amazing and fantastic show. All 4 nights! The old Cap Centre (flattened and a shopping mall now) was a nightmare for sound men. The Pringles potato chip shaped shaped ceiling created havoc for most bands. The 1st Van Halen concert there painfully sucked. First night for Zepp started out a bit rough, though the other three nights were awesome once tweaked!

There is a great soundboard boot of one night of this venue date. Brings back happy memories. Back then you could bring in double chamber US Bongs. The Capital Centre would have a thick foggy haze of assorted smoke hanging high in the air an hour prior to the first note being played. Good times.

Memorial Day, 1977. I was 16 and loved Zep so much. The show was the only time I saw them with my best friend Mike L. I am 50 now and can still see the pyramid of lasers around Page. A true highlight of my life.

Yes, after the song Plant said no more competion between YHWH ban and the fireworks or we are leaving....there were no more fireworks!
