One of their most inspiring powerful songs- who has ever made music anything even close? This was probably nearing the end of their peak in terms of live performance unfortunately. That never really mattered to those of us who know how incredibly special their music was. I love watching the 1980 concerts on this site. To me there is something really special about that. Partially because it was the only time they could have played anything from their last album live. The magic and mystical quality of the band and their music lives on in the new fans that are discovering them even today. Cheers!

WOW, this song is in my top 5 "its always rotating" but the top 5 never change. I love the one on the DVD that looks as if it was shot from a balcony. The Bonham just goes OFF on the intro in that one...Gives me chills...Thanks Uncle Jimmy

I was there that night, I had front row center seats and all access back stage passes for all three shows at the forum in 1975. I was the first one on the priority list to buy tickets.

I play guitar and I have met many music industry people and Musicians, which led to managing some of the priority lists for the National Event Services (N.E.S.) for venues in LA, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Stones, and The Who etc. This led to front row, back stage passes and parties.

Also in ’75 we went to the opening night party in Jimmy’s room at the Hyatt (Riot) Hotel on Sunset; you could see the huge Physical Graffiti billboard from his window! Best band ever! Great times!

Future generations will look back in awe at 4 truly talented artists. LZ still rock nearly half a century on.

I was 11 weeks shy of my 21st birthday in the nose bleed section, yet it was the best seat in my memory that will always stay with me. My daughter and her husband, who are in the same ball park age as I was when I went to the concert, are in fact just as big Zepplin fans as I was was back then. This band will go down in history, as no other during my life time. Not even the Stones could muster up this "rush" of excitment. I realize now that I witnessed something great in the making of rock and roll during all of their music making years. Had they decided to tour with Bonhams son for all of 2008, they would have easily made in a "one last time tour", an astronomical amount of money, that would blow away any set record out of the water for decades to come. Any charitable contributions would have benifited far past those set by the "Live Aid" tour in the ' 80's. Zepplin fan forever signing out happy to have been there and pass on the memories. Next one in line is my grand daugher, who will be named after one of there songs.
